tang17	Posted - 20 Jun 2005 : 07:15:36 Let me start from the beginning....I had a miscarriage, I found out while on vacation that our baby died at 6 weeks and 6 days I was 14 weeks at this point with no sign of anything...anyways hell started I had to go on cycotec....after passing everything I returned to my gyno. and he told me everything looks good but not to have sex for about 2 weeks....I had all intention not to so a week has passed and I had sex....I feel sooo bad. After mme and my husband had sex I started to bleed alot....Rene can you help me what have I done....This was last night I woke up this morning and it seems that I am stopping there was only a little compared to last night....Have I screwed everything up....really scared and I need some advise.....

Usually intercourse guidelines are given to allow a mom time to heal (after delivery) or to allow for all bleeding to stop (after miscarriage). If your bleeding had stopped when you had sex it may simply be that your cervix is still very vascular after the miscarriage. I would call your doctor just to be sure. Don't fret, especially since the bleeding is slowing. Let us know how things are going and if your MD had any words of wisdom.
