What the heck again??!!!??? So I took a few more hpt and they all turned out negative. Then today I took a clear blue easy early result and it was negative...about an hour and a half later it was positive...vertical blue line was seen! It was pencil thin though and not as fat as the "test" line. Hmmmm...do I dare venture out and buy yet another test or take this as a positive? I know evaporation lines are grey but this one definatly has blue...what do you all think??? My husband is in disbelief and thinks it's a fluke (sp?)

With HPT a positive result will last approx 48 hours a negative test should not be read after about 10mins as the result can "leak" into the "pregnant" line.
So leave it for the required time - usually 3 mins and do not read after about 10. Sorry Lisab_23.
However neagtive tests can be wrong, do you have lots of other symptoms, maybe a doctor appt is called for to make sure.
Good Luck
i hope you get the answer you want, keep us posted

The new tests that I have seen on T.V. do not have the lines, they say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" may be these would be easier to read since you wouldn't have that extra line that barely shows up.

Hello starbright Welcome to the forum.

I would think you are pregnant if you followed the instructions. Faint may just mean that you tested early in the pregnancy and the hormones are not strong enough to make a dark line.

If you want to wait 1 week and test again you could. Howerver, in my opinion it would be a waste of money. I would start looking for a healthcare provider if you do not already have one.

Congrats

Personally I dont trust anyone but EPT. For this pregnancy I used the new one and it actually SAYS pregnant (or not pregnant) on the screen. I really like the new one. It was very clean, very easy to take and it cost the same as the regular one with two tests in it. Not a bad deal IMO

Good luck!! I hope its positive!!!

I got a faint line using easy clear and blue pregnancy test so I am not sure it is positive or negative result. I use the digital clear and blue and I got the positive result on the second days of expected period. I also use the ovulation track and I got pregnant for the first month I try. I am so happy and I wish every body in this forum will get pregnant soon.
